Cobster invited us to attended his baptism and with it came a very busy weekend, so we choose to drive over to Wenatchee on Saturday and then back home. Made for a very fast Saturday.
We started off with dinner at an old country restaurant. Which served some good ole country cornbread. Yumm to all of us Texans and those we include by adoption.
This picture is out of sequence(still haven't conquered moving pictures around) Rich is always clowning around with my Mom and dinner was no exception.
The kids wanted to get pictures made with the older couple that just seemed to be hanging around the place,
Waiting for the food to come. Can you tell what kind of a glass/cup/ jar we are drinking from?
We went over to the Wenatchee Stake Center for Cobster's baptism. This is the family after the baptism actually, Diane, Scott, Corky and Cobster.
This is most of my family waiting for the baptism to begin.
Cobster, Suzanne, who is holding Wormboy, Diane, Corky, my Mom Tempie
and Richard, my husband. Staging her picture posing.Scott waiting for the time to pass for the baptism. And what a real miracle happened that day. To know that he spent 77 days in the hospital and was in the hospital rehab center just a month before this, what a true miracle happened where he could go down into the waters of baptism with his son and baptize him. Scott is our miracle! We love him dearly and everyday thank our Heavenly Father for saving his life and allowing him to remain in ours.
