Friend of Care's she worked with in Dr. Elle's office.

My Cobster up in the tree that no longer exists at Mothers home.

Suz, JJ and Kenressa. Christina came later after where. One of the reasons I don't have pictures of her and family. Donald must have been camera shy.

Seth, Donald's best friend, isn't camera shy and cooked teryaki chicken on the grill for us. Rich is busy visitng and eating.

The cake bite exchange.

Just a few pictures that I like.

Suz and Rachelle with Care.

Caroline just being Care Bear.

She is always my Sunshine Bear.

Daniel and Care

At the end of their day it was time to get off their feet and rest.

The Food table. Care wanted the food to be simple but good. The thing I heard again was, "Please don't make the food cheesy." So the menu consisted of a meat and cheese tray, a shrimp tray, grilled teryaki chicken, rolls and fruit bowl.

When we were planning the table decor Care was so worried that I would make it a Hawiian grass skirt hola girl. Again it was I don't want "cheesy Mom.

I told her of the idea of floating beta fish in a dish over a mirror. she thought that would be great. I got on line and started looking for possibilities and found lots of things. Then I found the website for Betta Mansions in Tacoma. We took a drive down and checked it.
Oh so much fun looking at everything. We were then waited on and talked about what Care wanted. The lady who helped us was great. She asked us what we were doing for the table clothes and such we told her that we were starting to research that, but hadn't made a decision. she talked to Care about what she would like and came up with this idea. Care loved it. I'm a pastel girl so to see these bright colors surprised me. the represenative said, "She is just a WOW girl. Caroline's personality just speaks out with WOW. I would say so.

At Betta Mansions she asked us about the cake and Care told her that we were have three seperate layers and hadn't quite decided how to display them. this picture and the one after her flowers shows what Betta Mansions came up with. I would havew to say that the display was way better than the taste of the cake. We were disappointed with cake because it was so dry.

I had tried out a place for flowers at Rent a Flowers and were very happy with the job they did with a set of rose bouquets to match Royual Doulton's Old Country Rose pattern. so decided to use them for Care's wedding. I was so disappointed. Care wanted calla lillies and they did not turn out well at all. So the day before the reception I called our local florist and this is the bouquet he came up for us. it was beautiful and went right all with everything else.

The cake setting on top of beta fish swimming in their little mansion.

Below is a picture of the grandkids and traveling for 16 hours to get to the wedding in Utah. Guess you can sleep in just about any position after that amount of time on the road.
